How do you play Missing XI?
Guess any player from the match's starting lineup by typing their name into the guess box - you don't need to know their exact position. A correct guess fills their real shirt on the pitch and turns green. A wrong guess costs one of your 5 lives.
Does Missing XI use real matches?
Yes - the daily pick is a real match lineup, a new one each day, with past days playable via the archive arrows. Two curated classic matches (Istanbul 2005 and the Invincibles' 2004 finale) are also always available as a separate tab.
Is there a leaderboard for Missing XI?
Yes, ranked by how many players you named correctly, with speed as the tiebreak. The daily pick and each classic match have their own leaderboard.
